Car Seat Safety Class -United States Registrants- $75.00
$75.00Add to cartView CartMotor vehicle collisions are a leading cause of fatal injury for children in much of the United States. The best protection comes from a properly installed car seat, but studies show that up to 90% of car seats are used incorrectly. In this virtual Car Seat Safety Class, taught by a senior Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, you will learn the best practices of the five-stage journey of car seat safety with detailed attention to the first stage of this journey. This class will also review the characteristics of how to choose a car seat for your newborn, how to adjust the 5-point harness properly, and review the methods of installation to safely install a car seat in a motor vehicle and avoid common misuses. The class will also cover what non-regulated products are and if they're useful and safe. Although the class format cannot provide for personal car seat inspection, time will be provided for questions and answers.
This Car Seat Safety class is 75 minutes to 2 hours, live webinar available through the Zoom platform. This class is best suited for an expectant family starting their car seat safety journey, new families anxious about keeping their baby safe in a motor vehicle, a caretaker wanting a refresher of motor vehicle safety information, grandparents honing updated information and people feeling there are just too many choices and options and not sure where to start.
Classes are offered on the following dates and run from 9:00am to approximately 11:00am Pacific Time. US Registrants only at present:
